After an extended holiday season, the YNM Podcast team is back and so it was only right to get the podcast back up and running. In this episode, we discuss Real Madrid’s slow start to 2022 with their loss against Getafe and a sloppy win versus CD Alcoyano in the Copa del Rey. However, Real Madrid were able to pick themselves up after these performances with a solid 4-1 over Valencia. It was the Vini & Benz Show once again for Real Madrid as both of Los Blancos’ star forwards scored a brace in the win over Los Che. Their return to form was without a doubt influenced by Vincius Jr.’s return to the starting XI after missing the first two games of 2022 after testing positive for COVID-19.
Is there a dependency on the young Brazilians phenomenal form this season? We think so. We also discuss Valencia’s official tweet claiming “robbery” in their match versus Madrid and other nonsense from the anti-Madridista crowd. Enjoy!
