Ep. 23 - Keep Fighting

Real Madrid keeps fighting for La Liga as they get their third win in a row with a 2-0 victory over Valencia.

The win over Los Che takes Real Madrid to second place in La Liga, 5 points behind leaders Atlético Madrid. However, Barcelona who sit in third place have one game less than Los Blancos and league leaders Atlético have two games in hand.

With both Barcelona and Atlético Madrid getting wins over the weekend it was absolutely necessary for Real Madrid to get the win over Valencia in order to stay in the fight.

Who will win La Liga is truly out of Real Madrid’s hands, with Atlético 5 points ahead with 2 games in hand, Atlético are firmly at the steering wheel. It is their league to lose.

However, it is important for Real Madrid to continue getting wins in order to keep the pressure on their city rivals hoping that the pressure will cause their rivals to slip up and drop points.

In this episode, we discuss the 2-0 win over Valencia, the 2-0 win over Getafe earlier in the week, and how the team is seemingly rediscovering their from at what is a very important part of the season. We also discuss the ongoing problem with injuries and what will happen with Zidane if Real Madrid is able to turn this season around.
