Ep. 43 - A Stumble at the Bernabeu

It’s been 4 games since our last podcast. Technical difficulties prevented us from putting together a show after the Inter and Valencia games, so here we are with an episode about those games along with the Mallorca and Villareal matches from this week.

Now, just when we thought we were going to be flying high after a steady stream of positive results…Real Madrid stumble at the Bernabeu and are only able to get one point from their clash with Villareal.

But too many Madridistas are reactionary and bitter souls that see one bad game and think their armchair tactics would have saved the game. It’s a 0-0 draw in the 7th game of a 38 game season and Villareal are the current Europa League champions. This wasn’t going to be another bulldozing game like what we saw against Mallorca.

In the episode, we do criticize Ancelotti’s XI and tactics but also call out childish Twitter warriors as well as doom & gloom Madridistas that don’t realize that draws and losses are sometimes a part of the game.
