Show Notes

Real Madrid is back at the top of La Liga after thrashing Granada 4-1 at Estadio Los Carmenes over the weekend. Goals from Marco Asensio, Nacho, Vinicius Jr., and Ferland Mendy sealed the win for Los Blancos while Granada were able to pull one back via Colombian striker Luis Suarez.

After the international break, Real Madrid came back demonstrating some good offensive football.

Real Madrid went up 2-0 early before sitting back and conceding towards the end of the first half. In the second half, Real Madrid dominated and finished off the game by putting two more goals in the back of Granada’s net.

In this episode, we discuss the win over Granada and the vintage performances put in by Real Madrid’s experienced midfield trio of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, and Casemiro. In addition, Vinicius Jr, who had a somewhat quiet first half had a dazzling second half that literally had Granada’s defense losing their tempers as they were unable to stop the young Brazilian.

We also talk about Real’s upcoming game versus Sheriff Tiraspol in the Champions League, bad fan behavior, and more!
