It’s still international break and we are all waiting for club football to return this weekend BUT there was some excitement this week as the winter transfer window came to an end on Monday, Jan. 31st. For Madridistas, there wasn’t much to celebrate during this transfer window, as we’re all confident at this point that Kylian Mbappé will be a Real Madrid player this summer, and most likely DON FLORENTINO PEREZ is saving his best moves for the summer transfer window.
However, this was a pretty active winter transfer window, which usually isn’t the case.
The most talked-about transfers in Spanish media have been the moves made by Barcelona. Essentially the transfer of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal to the Blaugranas.
Madridista consensus is that Barcelona is simply buying up players they can get on the cheap, even if they are not currently in the best form or getting many minutes on the team they are being purchased from.
