After a terrible week, Real Madrid finds redemption, in the best way possible. With a 3-1 El Clásico win versus Barcelona.
El Clásico rarely disappoints.
It’s also a rare game during the La Liga season that usually does not take into account the form either of the team arrives in. Either Real Madrid or Barcelona can be performing well in La Liga and suddenly find themselves on the losing end of El Clásico when the final whistle blows. The opposite is also true.
Real Madrid arrived at El Clásico in dire need of a win. A dismal performance versus Cádiz last weekend and a worse performance against Shakthar Donetsk in the UCL midweek had many Madridistas extremely worried about facing our Catalan rivals.
Real Madrid came to play. They came out with the attitude we have all been asking for. And it’s fitting that the only team capable of waking up a sleeping Real Madrid was our most bitter rivals.
In this episode, we discuss Real Madrid’s huge 3-1 El Clásico win versus FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou. We discuss who the standout players were, trusting in Zidane, and what we hope to see from the team moving forward.
